Thanks for visiting our Blog about our new life on Skye. We wanted to keep our family and friends updated on how our big move was going and how the house build was coming along and thought this would be the easiest way.

House so far........
The dormers are all finished now and the lead work is complete. All ready for the slate to go on!
Looks amazing guys, we are so impressed, it actually looks pretty massive now. Assume those are the slates in the stacks at the front. We keep looking at flights - still looking - hope the wind isn't too strong on the caravan this week.
Hi Ang, I think it feels pretty massive to Simon now, especially the amount of roof he's got to slate! Weather here has been pretty good this week-I think you've had it all down South for a change. Looking forward to seeing you, come whenever it suits you and when the flights are the cheapest! Speak soon.
